Liam Payne going in a different direction after showing off 'cute' new face tattoo

Liam Payne has gone in a different direction with his tattoos, as his latest addition is on his face. The new ink had its first public sighting this week when the star was out for dinner in London, but fans have mixed reactions.

In 2010 Liam and the rest of the One Direction boys took the world by storm when they burst onto the music scene. Although the band are no longer together, they’re still thriving separately, as loyal Directioners support their every move, including, Liam Payne‘s new addition. We take a look at the ink and what fans have been saying.

Liam Payne shows off new face tattoo

Tattoos aren’t a new thing for the ex-One DIirection star, who’s tatted up to the max, however this is his first face tattoo, which was on show while out in London.

Payne’s symbol is located beneath his right eye, and although the design isn’t completely clear, is thought to either be a bird or a heart.

The tattoo isn’t the only change Liam displayed as of late, as he’s also been sporting a new hairstyle. While headed out to dinner, Payne added a bead to his side braid, as he let his long locks grow.

Fans have mixed reactions

Although some fans are loving the 29-year-old’s tatt, others aren’t so keen on the placement. Some are even hoping it’s temporary. We guess we’ll find out soon!

“Awwwww omg he looks soo cute,” penned one on Twitter.

“Gorgeous gorgeous boy,” wrote another.

“LIAM JAMES PAYNE DID YOU GET A FACE TATTOO?” screamed one fan.

One fan wasn’t too keen, as they wrote: “I love Liam but, a face tattoo???? I hope temporary,”

“Liam face tattoo nooooo,” screamed another.

Liam and Zayn interacted, and fans are losing it

Although there may have been questions surrounding their friendship as of late, it seems like these were recently put to bed when Ziam interacted on the ‘gram.

Zayn Malik, who is set to release new music, shared an upcoming snippet of his song, and Liam was ‘fangirling’ like the rest of us.

Taking to his former bandmate’s post, the Strip That Down music hitmaker wrote: “This sounds big already.” If that wasn’t enough for our hearts to take, Malik responded by saying: “Appreciate it bro, thanks for the love.”
