Five times football crossed paths with Babestation from Liverpool WAG to TV blunder
Football and Babestation have surprisingly crossed paths more than you might think in recent years - including flings, marriages and television blunders.
The cult adult television channel is famed for its scantily clad women answering calls from viewers and it turns out some of those callers have connections to the football world. From former Liverpool star Jermaine Pennant's relationship with a Babestation girl Alice Goodwin to a television blunder at Bristol Rovers, the worlds of football and Babestation have collided on several occasions.
With that in mind, here are five times that the two crossed paths, featuring Paddy McGuinness, Robbie Williams and a former England defender.

Jermaine Pennant
Former Liverpool winger Pennant began dating Babestation babe Alice Goodwin in 2011, reportedly breaking off a relationship with another woman after meeting Goodwin.
Goodwin also worked as a glamour model, appearing in a string of racy outlets alongside her work with Babestation.
The couple tied the knot in 2014 and remained married until splitting in 2020, calling an end to their relationship after a total of nine years together. The relationship had been heavily strained during Pennant's stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018, which saw him get close to model Chloe Ayling.
Confused footballers
Back in April, Babestation girl Jess West revealed that footballers regularly call her line and mistake her for an escort.
She explained: "I’ve had famous people call me on Babestation and you get footballers, particularly the younger generation, calling up and saying they play for so and so.
“They ask how much it would be to book me and I’m always like ‘you can’t book me, this is phone sex’. It was always the footballers who would call and straight away drop in who they are.
“They say things like, ‘oh you are so beautiful I just couldn’t help but talk to you’ and they ask to go on a date. Again I say it’s phone sex, it’s not like that. But because they are footballers and we are on the TV and a lot of us are models they just think ‘oh I like her’ as if it’s a catalogue they can choose from.”
Ashley Cole
Former England and Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole once reportedly had a fling with Babestation star Roxanne Jeffers, when he was single.
That is according to the glamour model, who made the claim in 2013, telling The Mirror: “It happened recently. We met on a night out and from that we hooked up a few times.
“I don’t have bad word to say about him and I don’t think he’d want me speaking out about what has gone on. I am single now – it was never a proper relationship.”
Bristol Rovers
Fans at the League Cup clash between Bristol Rovers and Crawley Town in August 2018 received more than they expected during the half-time interval.
Television screens at the bar of the clubhouse at the Memorial Ground were briefly switched to Babestation before returning to highlights of the first half.
Bristol Rovers confirmed they would conduct an investigation into the incident. One fan told BBC Radio Bristol, via the BBC: "To be honest the Flake advert was more racy than what we saw last night.
"It was quite amusing really. The first time we thought it was just an advert but then the football came back on and then whoever had a remote control put it back on again and there was a massive cheer."
Paddy McGuinness and Robbie Williams
Having been introduced to each other by mutual pal Jonathan Wilkes, comedian Paddy McGuinness and pop superstar Robbie Williams have since become close friends.
McGuinness revealed last year that the pair once called up Babestation and discussed Premier League managers with the unaware model on the other end of the line.
He told The Sun: “So there we were, the king of pop, chatting away to the girl on Babestation who was totally oblivious to who she was talking to.”
The former Take Me Out host revealed that other topics of conversation included biscuits and comedy films. McGuinness and Williams have also been regular team-mates at Soccer Aid in recent years.
